Phil dedicates himself daily to empowering his family, friends, and clients, aiding them in achieving clarity and confidence in their financial affairs. He firmly believes that by fostering clarity and confidence in matters of money—free from anger, conflict, anxiety, or fear—individuals can lead richer, more fulfilling lives and become exemplary stewards of their resources. His unwavering “why” is to educate and guide others towards fostering a steadfast faith in their financial futures.

As a valued member of the Fortegic team for over 5 years, Phil has consistently proven his worth, earning multiple accolades from our Ameritas partners and invitations to speak at numerous conferences across the United States. In addition to his leadership at Fortegic, Phil is a certified financial educator through the Council of Financial Educators (COFE), specializing in Social Security maximization—empowering clients to make informed, strategic decisions about their retirement income. He also holds the National Social Security Advisor designation for his commitment and education for Social Security benefits and advisement.

Prior to his tenure at Fortegic, Phil served as a High School athletic director at Aiken, Kings, and Sycamore High Schools, where he touched the lives of thousands of student-athletes and collaborated with hundreds of coaches, teachers, and administrators. His dedication extended beyond the local level as he served on the boards of directors for high school athletic administration at both the state and national levels.
